FOUNDED IN MILAN, ITALY | ESTABLISHED IN 1947

Founded in 1947, Giuseppe Gatti began his sock business by breeding silk worms in his attic and selling the cocoons to local silk mills. 

Today, the company produces luxury socks, focusing on the highest standards of manufacturing for efficiency and quality. True to the family roots, Marcoliani has chosen to keep all its production in Italy. It continues to be family-run by children Erminia, Carlo and Paolo Gatti.

Marcoliani is located in the town of Giussano, in the province of Brianza, in the Lombardy region of northern Italy.
