FOUNDED IN CAPRI, ITALY | ESTABLISHED IN 1948

Although Carthusia was formally established in 1948, the legend of the first perfume of Capri dates back to 1380. Centuries-old knowledge combined with natural, locally sourced quality ingredients, produce unique harmonies of scents. 

Today, the artisans of Carthusia continue to handcraft an array of fragrances that have a hidden yet indivisible bond with Capri. 

Carthusia is located in Capri Island, in the Tyrrhenian Sea, in the Campania region of southern Italy.
